OBJECT NATURE PAPANDAYAN
Volcano is a strato
volcano located in Garut, West Java,
precisely in the District Cisurupan.
Mountain with an
altitude of 2665 meters above sea level it
is located approximately 70 miles southeast

crater. Among crater
Mas, New Crater,

are steaming from the inside.

- It is a complex Papandayan crater volcano is still active area of 10 ha. In complex crater magma have holes large and small, from the exit holes fumes / vapor to cause a wide range of unique sound. To reach the crater papandayan track of where it is rather difficult especially for novice climbers. But after reaching the middle of the crater will be visible papandayan arrowroot quarter of the city.
- The cottage is an area of grassland Saladah area of 8 hectares, with an altitude of 2,288 meters above sea level. In this area the river flows Cisaladah which water flows throughout the year. This location is very suitable for camping. Dipondok Saladah can be said to be a gathering place for climbers, cottage Saladah highly frequented place because tempatmya vast, cool scenery, and the water is crystal clear and direct from the original mountains. But to reach the lodge was quite difficult Saladah takes approximately 2 hours of climbing. And for novice climbers was very tiring but certainly exciting.

- Dead Forest, forest die can be said second peak before the top of the mountain peaks papandayan, the path we passed the time was very muddy and no timbuhan longer live there. Why is that? Because there is no fertile ground there, in the woods to die only calcareous soils that can not make a living trees as appropriate. For temperatures in the dead forest was very cold but when we look at the landscape of gratitude will never stop. In my opinion this place is great for taking photograph.
- The peak of the volcano, although the volcano is not the highest peak of the mountain is still a beginner but even if we see the sights and atmosphere of the above will be amazed at all. How proud and grateful to be born in this world and are able to puncakn papandayan.
